On Saturday, August 8th, more than 60 parishioners descended on the church armed with buckets, brushes and feather dusters to join together to give our church a really good “Spring” clean. They were divided into teams and allocated a particular area to clean.
Dirt and dust were dislodged from places high and low, the woodwork waxed and polished, curtains and pew cushions vacuumed and everywhere thoroughly cleaned and spruced up.
Energies were fortified by tea and coffee, doughnuts and home-made cake.
At the end of a long, hard day our lovely church gleamed and looked even more beautiful.
