Remembrance 2025

This year, Remembrance Sunday fell on a rather wet autumn morning, but that didn’t stop around 200 people from attending the memorial service by the clock tower. As the clock chimed 11 o’clock, the bugler, Mary Burfitt, played the Last Post to signal the start of the two-minute silence, and concluded with Reveille.

The service that followed was organised by Mere and District Churches Together and held in St Michael’s, with Revd Michael leading the service.
